On this day I only had 2 sessions planned due to the trip back to the Netherlands. Had to be at the airport around 14:00. Maybe next year, book a day extra but the additional costs for that were pretty steep.

Overall experiences and tips
This VMworld was for me a totally different experience. Since the location moved from Las Vegas to San Francisco it became a titbit more expensive to attend VMworld. Costs of food and so are much more expensive than Vegas. For me, that wasn’t an issue but could be for some people paying out of pocket. Ubers from and to the Airport are much cheaper and more comfortable than a taxi. If you are going to VMworld 2020, the date is already announced and might be useful to be early on the hotel booking. The city is amazing apart from the tons of homeless people.
If you arrive early, take the time to see the city. I can recommend:
- Alcatraz
- Pier 39
- Fisherman’s Warf
